Your Role:
The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for supervising a team of maintenance employees, performing preventative/corrective maintenance, emergency repairs, installations, and modification of plant production and service equipment. This position will maintain systems and equipment by completing preventative maintenance schedules, restoring, repairing, rebuilding, or replacing defective or inoperative parts. You will have the opportunity to:
Troubleshoot broken equipment quickly and restore the equipment to operation. Additionally, the Maintenance Supervisor assists the maintenance and engineering groups in determining solutions to technical problems involving rolling mills, separators, annealing furnaces, spoolers, and packaging equipment.
The Maintenance Supervisor directly manages about 25 employees in a union environment and works with all employees on various maintenance projects related to the aluminum rolling, separating, and packaging process.
The Maintenance Supervisor ensures compliance of direct reports with the Company’s environmental, health, and safety protocols along with other Company policies. They must maintain hourly personnel files, including filing all documents related to Company policy such as employee counseling, time and attendance, work performance, etc.
Occasionally, the Maintenance Supervisor will be required to manage both production and maintenance employees. The work schedule supports 24/7 production with a 12-hour rotating shift.

We need you to have:
High School diploma or equivalent.
4+ years of experience in a unionized, maintenance department in manufacturing.
Strong knowledge and demonstrated skills in electrical troubleshooting.
Qualified in NFPA – 70 E for Electrical work.
Working knowledge and experience with a preventive and predictive maintenance system.
Strong leadership skills with demonstrated experience leading multi-craft teams.
Additional educational background or experience that includes experience with machine design, hydraulics. and general mechanics.
Ability to work in a team environment and employ problem-solving skills.
Demonstrated experience working with a CMMS system.
Have excellent written and interpersonal skills, and a working knowledge of MS Word & MS Excel.
Willingness to work any shift, as well as overtime, with weekend work mandatory.
Icing on the cake:
BA/BS degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
MBA or other advanced degree.
Experience working in a Union environment.
Proficient in SAP and Kronos.
