If you are looking to build a strong career, we have an opportunity for you! We are searching for a Technical Services Manager to join our team located at our facility in South Boston, VA.

 

Responsibilities

Your Role:

The Technical Services Manager is responsible for the safe design, installation, maintenance, and repair of equipment that will provide processes that are capable of manufacturing products to target specifications with minimum variations. In this role, you will plan, organize, direct, and control the activities of Technical Services. You will have the opportunity to:

  • Manage a team of process engineers, maintenance, and project personnel.  
  • Support and assist with facilitating safety leadership.
  • Participate in the development, implementation, and review of HACCP.
  • Facilitate and provide proactive follow-up for SQP items. 
  • Direct development of and resource planning for bi-weekly plant project lists. 
  • Facilitate biweekly Technical Services meetings. Lead problem-solving sessions with team members. 
  • Manage and support corporate projects by leading specification, selection, and continuous improvement of printing equipment and process.
  • Manage plant capital budget to support plant objectives.  
  • Ensure that the EAM (Oracle) system is fully utilized to organize, prioritize, and manage the workload of the Tech Team in support of plant objectives.

Qualifications

We need you to have:

  • BS degree in Engineering.
  • Prior experience leading a team. 
  • Proficient in MS Office. 
  • Time management skills. 
  • Project management. 
  • Written and oral communications skills. 
  • Facilitation skills. 
  • Conflict management skills. 
  • Ability to coach individuals and teams. 
  • Working knowledge of GMP, HACCP, AIB & SQF requirements. 

 

Icing on the cake:

  • Prior experience in CPG.

Posted Salary Range

USD $108,000.00 - USD $120,000.00 /A

Bonus Eligibility

Role is eligible for 10% annual incentive provided the business meets financial goals and the individual meets their performance goals, subject to plan administration guidelines.
