Your Role:

The Senior Category Analyst is responsible for establishing strong working relationships, internally and externally, focused on the designed retail customer across all business units.  Ultimately, you will be actively involved in utilizing space management technologies and applications in assisting Category Managers with the creation and implementation of planograms with shelf schematic/planograms for all relays, new stores, remodels and special projects. You will have the opportunity to:

• Provide support to the Walmart Category Advisors by way of providing analytics on multiple categories across multiple departments both internally and externally utilizing internal data, syndicated data and retailer provided data; to include sales, category, marketing, retailer merchants, financial planners and space planning. 
• Actively involved in utilization of space management technologies and applications in assisting Category Advisors with the creation and implementation of planograms at store level.  
• Provide retail customers and Reynolds internal management with weekly, monthly, quarterly and yearly reporting according to their needs.  
• Establish strong working relationships, internally and externally, focused on the Walmart business across all categories with a goal of streamlining collaboration and communication thereby driving profitable results for the organization as well as our business partners. 
• Support Sales and Category Management teams on special projects.  
• Meet regularly with Category and Sales teams to assist in developing appropriate insights to business issues through the mining of data that will drive increased sales and profits for the retailer’s category and RCP brands.

We need you to have:

• BA/BS degree in Sales, Marketing, Finance or related field. 
• 2+ years of related professional Category Management/Analytical role in a CPG company or brokerage firm. 
• Strong mathematical, analytical, computer skills (Powerpoint, Excel, and Word). 
• Strong knowledge in the use of system software, planogram software and syndicated data supplier tool (e.g. Nielsen AOD) 
• Proficient in gathering, compiling and analyzing “data” which results in delivering actionable insights and “story telling.” 
• Good interpersonal & communication skills and the ability to work in a cross-functional team environment. 
• Must be team-oriented with the ability to work on high collaboration and performance teams
