Responsibilities

Your Role: 

The Senior Brand Manager is responsible for leading cross-functional teams to develop integrated position strategies to commercialize new products and ensure maximum brand exposure.  This position will manage the marketing of Alcan® aluminum foil and baking products, Reynolds Kitchens® parchment paper, baking cups, oven bags, and slow cooker liners in its entirety, from research and development through sales.  The role will also oversee the advertising for the product, direct the marketing research and manage distribution. You will have the opportunity to:

  • Collaborate with business teams to understand and deliver product news to achieve plan commitments.
  • Develop and manage multi-faceted projects including operational, financial, sales and marketing components from concept to completion with a high level of attention to detail and within tight timeframes.
  • P&L responsibility for a medium to large size profit center. Utilize strong analytical skills to manage financials and develop fact-based recommendations for innovation, pricing, and distribution strategies.
  • Conduct in-depth analysis and concept/product testing to determine and communicate business potential.
  • Contribute to new product pipeline development via needs analysis and translation into viable and meaningful product offerings.
  • Engage and manage external resources as necessary to support idea generation and product development process.
  • Analyze current performance, trends, market conditions and other contributing factors in making recommendations for base and stretch revenue goals.
  • Prepare and communicate project update and business review reports to management.
  • Develop and recommend the annual Business and Marketing Plan to drive brand sales, market share, and profitability.
  • Responsible for creating customized sales presentations, executing customer marketing plans, and tracking product performance.
  • In locations where applicable, responsible to comply with the SQF and GMP practices and programs to ensure safe food packaging product and to report food safety problems to those with authority to take action.  
  • Size, scope and complexity of assigned portfolio are factors in the level of responsibility.

Qualifications

We need you to have:

  • BA/BS degree in Marketing, Business, or related field.
  • 5+ years of related professional and progressive Brand Marketing experience in the CPG industry.
  • Solid business acumen with proven experience in the P&L and budgeting process.
  • Must be team-oriented with the ability to work on high collaboration and performance teams.
  • Proven leadership skills and ability to lead cross-functional teams.
  • Solid project management capabilities with the ability to organize and manage multiple projects simultaneously from origin through execution.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including presentation skills and the ability to communicate and influence at all levels within the organization.
  • Self-directed with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple accountabilities and multiple internal customers.
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills, with high attention to detail.
  • Willingness to work a flexible schedule during key business deadlines.
  • Proficient in MS Office.

Icing on the cake:

  • Experience with research and new product development.
  • Proficient in Nielsen IQ.

Posted Salary Range

CAD $120,000.00 - CAD $130,000.00 /A

Bonus Eligibility

Role is eligible for 18% annual incentive provided the business meets financial goals and the individual meets their performance goals, subject to plan administration guidelines.
