If you are looking to build a strong career, we have an opportunity for you! We are searching for a Sales Finance Manager to join our team located at our corporate headquarters in Lake Forest, IL. 

Responsibilities

Your Role:

The Sales Finance Manager will report to the Finance Director, Revenue Growth Management. We are looking for a finance leader with a customer focused mindset, and a demonstrated ability to support the Sales Evolution Team (SET) and other functional teams. You will be a key member of both the SET team and the broader FP&A Group.

  • Provide key financial insights into sales performance with an emphasis on profitable topline growth.
  • Collaborate with business unit teams to harness full breadth of company knowledge in delivering insights to the SET leadership team.
  • Partner with SET leadership to optimize earnings through ongoing assessments of opportunities from gross-to-net-revenue.
  • Support changes in pricing strategy across the organization, track and report on progress.
  • Support multiple SET groups such as the e-Commerce, Visual Branding and Insights & Analytics teams on financial metrics and opportunity areas.
  • Centralize governance of investment returns associated with growth/innovation capital investments.
  • Monitor and report on the relationship between consumer takeaway, retailer inventory positions and company shipments.
  • Support the sales demand forecasting process, leveraging the knowledge you will build of our consumers and retail partners to improve forecasting accuracy.
  • Develop, monitor and report against SET SG&A budget.
  • Manage and develop the financial analyst assigned to the team.
  • Enhance and lead company-wide Customer Product & Profitability reporting processes including Executive reporting.
  • Work closely with Financial Planning & Analysis to support month end internal reporting.
  • Leverage financial systems to enhance quality and/or drive efficiency in forecasting, reporting and analysis.
  • Conduct ad-hoc analysis and reporting as required.

Qualifications

We need you to have:

  • BA/BS degree in Finance or Accounting.
  • 7 years relevant finance experience in CPG and/or Manufacturing.
  • Track record of strategic partnership with Sales teams or other functions
  • Broad Finance experiences combining some mix of FP&A, Financial Reporting, Public Accounting.

 

Icing on the cake:

  • Experience in a sales role.
  • MBA or other advanced degree.

Posted Salary Range

USD $130,000.00 - USD $145,000.00 /A

Bonus Eligibility

Role is eligible for 14% annual incentive provided the business meets financial goals and the individual meets their performance goals, subject to plan administration guidelines.
