We are searching for a Presto BU Senior Supply Planning Manager to join our team located in our corporate headquarters in Lake Forest, IL.

 

Responsibilities

Your Role:

As the Presto BU Senior Supply Planning Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the supply planning strategy and operations within the Presto Business Unit in order to maximize process efficiency and productivity. This position will collaborate and serve as the liaison with the Presto business and functional teams to facilitate understanding of logistics forecast and budget. You will have the opportunity to: 

  • Track logistics initiatives, synergies and support variance analysis.
  • Ensure inventory plans are established in conjunction with demand plans and manufacturing processes to meet business needs.
  • Recommend and present findings and recommendations to all levels of management.
  • Build and support project plans to implement recommendations. Includes defining impacts to product distribution and evaluating impact of business driven go to market changes.
  • Interact with customers and has the ability to review requests and changes as well as assess the impact of changes.
  • Recommend improvements to supply chain metrics and performance standards using research, supplier relationships, industry knowledge and best business practices.
  • Initiate & lead supply prioritization discussions during capacity constrained periods.
  • Lead and/or support troubleshooting and problem resolution for planning issues impacting service.
  • Manage a team of planners in the daily execution of their roles.

Qualifications

We need you to have:

  • BA/BS degree in Supply Chain, Business, Finance or related field.
  • Previous experience in Supply Planning experience.
  • 10+ years of related professional and progressive experience in supply chain in a multi-facility environment utilizing MPS, CPP, and MRP.
  • Prior team management experience combined with a proven record of accomplishment of developing, coaching and mentoring a diverse supply chain team.
  • Proficient in MS Office, with advanced skills in Excel.
  • Proficient in JDA and/or Manugistics.
  • Proficient in SAP.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including presentation skills and the ability to communicate and influence at all levels within the organization.
  • Self-directed with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple accountabilities and multiple internal customers.
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills, with high attention to detail.
  • Ability to establish cross-functional, collaborative relationships with business partners.
  • Willingness to work a flexible schedule during key business deadlines.
  • Ability to travel on a limited basis. (5%)
  • Must be team-oriented with the ability to work on high collaboration and performance teams. 

Icing on the cake:

  • MBA or other advanced degree.
  • APICS certification.

Posted Salary Range

USD $135,000.00 - USD $150,000.00 /A

Bonus Eligibility

Role is eligible for 18% annual incentive provided the business meets financial goals and the individual meets their performance goals, subject to plan administration guidelines.
