Responsibilities

Your Role: 

The primary function of the Customer Account Representative is to provide exemplary service to customers via incoming phone calls, web, and fax communications. The Customer Services staff will assist customers through order processing and expediting, quotes, returns, delivery information, product knowledge, research, problem solving and follow-up. Attention to detail, strong interpersonal communication skills, and a willingness to collaborate within the department and with other business units is essential. You will have the opportunity to: 

  • Support the company profit and service objectives by ensuring accurate and timely handling of customer orders, inquiries, and concerns.  

  • Review orders for lead-time, product availability and conformance to order policies.  

  • Serve as the facilitator between customer and other functional areas when requirements do not capabilities.  

  • Serve as the day-to-day voice of the customer for the Sales and Marketing team.  

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with assigned accounts to ensure that service levels provide Reynolds Consumer Products with a competitive advantage in the marketplace.  

  • Provide an ongoing view of service satisfaction and changing customer requirements by collecting and reporting data on key account relationships to the Sales and Marketing organization.   

  • Size, scope and complexity of assigned portfolio are factors in the level of responsibility.  

  • In locations where applicable, responsible for complying with the SQF and GMP practices and programs to ensure safe food packaging product and to report food safety problems to those with authority to act.

Qualifications

 

We need you to have: 

  • High School diploma or equivalent.  

  • 7+ years of related professional customer service and/or clerical experience in a manufacturing environment.  

  • Proficient in MS Office.  

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.  

  • Self-directed with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple accountabilities and multiple internal customers.  

  • Strong analytical and organizational skills with high attention to detail.  

  • Willingness to work a flexible schedule during key business deadlines.  

  • Ability to be patient and empathetic to consumer concerns and to act responsibly.  

  • Must be team-oriented with the ability to work on high collaboration and performance teams. 

 

Icing on the cake: 

  • BA/BS degree. 

  • Proficient in SAP.
