Responsibilities

Your Role:

As an Electrical Engineering Manager, you will be a key contributor to the overall engineering direction for the plant. You will provide the planning and execution of both strategic and tactical activities and projects related to the safety and overall OEE for the LFP facility. The position reports directly to the Engineering Manager.

  • Manage the electrical engineering team to ensure cascaded LFP objectives are met within their respective teams (3 direct reports).
  • Ensure all team members comply with all safety policies, standards, and expectations.
  • Lead, coach, and influence the development of each team member.
  • Assist in the development of electrical engineers’ individual training plans.
  • Initial reviewer and approver of engineering technical documents.
  • Participate in process area team FMEAs, RCAs, and Safety Taproots.
  • Support the daily needs of maintaining plant performance by prioritizing and administrating engineering support to plant maintenance and operations as needed.
  • Support any developmental needs identified within our maintenance organization.
  • Backfill process area electrical engineers in their absence.
  • Support electrical design, scope, coordination and execution of projects.
  • Create and/or assist in the development of technical documents to assist maintenance and operations.
  • Owner of plant electrical drawings and electrical specifications.
  • Manage capital projects utilizing project management life cycle.
  • Create capital acquisition requests, project scopes of work, RFQs, process functional specifications, project and life cycle cost estimates, project justifications, and manage purchase order requisitions.
  • Communicate effectively in writing, including formulation and review/approval of official and technical correspondence, reports and presentations.
  • Participate and/or facilitate maintainability and design reviews, FAT’s/SAT’s, turnover package reviews and ensure project documentation is accurate, complete and meets specifications.
  • Drive projects to completion while maintaining timeline, budget, and meeting project objectives.

Qualifications

We need you to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, or a related field (ABET accredited).
  • 8+ years of professional and progressive Plant Engineering experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • 8+ years of project management experience.
  • MS Office, AutoCAD, process data analytics software experience.
  • Demonstrated high level competencies of engineering concepts, process control and instrumentation and good engineering practices.
  • Manufacturing experience.
  • Rockwell drive and PLC experience.
  • Experience in design, installation and troubleshooting of electrical power distribution, AC and DC drives, Wonderware and automation.
  • Knowledge and application of industry relevant NFPA, NEC, and international codes.

Posted Salary Range

USD $115,000.00 - USD $130,000.00 /A

Bonus Eligibility

Role is eligible for 10% annual incentive provided the business meets financial goals and the individual meets their performance goals, subject to plan administration guidelines.
