Your Role:

The Engineering Technician will perform electrical and mechanical modifications on existing production, packaging, and material handling equipment. This role will assist with trials on new resin processes per Manufacturing Engineering department requests.

• Supply technical assistance to the facility to maintain and improve overall operational efficiency.
• Responsible for complex operations and duties in production.
• Track equipment performance and adjust setups, calibrations, and alignments.
• Confer with other specialists when serious problems occur.
• Track data associated with production equipment.
• Suggest revisions for methods of operation, material handling, or equipment layout.
• Interpret engineering drawings, schematic diagrams, and formulas.
• Confer with management or engineering staff to determine quality and reliability standards.
• Recommend changes to production standards for achieving the best quality within the limits of equipment capacity.
• Report any inconsistencies and use standard repair procedures.
• Responsible for solving problems requiring more extensive knowledge and experience.

We need you to have:

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 4+ years of experience in Manufacturing.
• Strong troubleshooting skills.
• Proficient in computer applications including MS Office.
• Possess good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Must be self-motivated, proactive, and able to work effectively with minimal supervision.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends.
• High level of attention to detail.
• Critical thinking and analytical skills.
• Communication skills, both written and verbal.

Icing on the cake:

• AAS or trade school diploma in mechanical or electrical Engineering.
