Responsibilities

Your Role:

 

Reynolds Consumer Products is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Regulatory Specialist -Technical Compliance to support our Legal and Regulatory Department in managing technical compliance issues related to chemical regulations and sustainability initiatives. This role is ideal for candidates with 2+ years of experience who are passionate about regulatory science and eager to contribute to product compliance and innovation in the consumer-packaged goods (CPG) and food contact materials industry.

  • Support regulatory compliance activities related to chemical regulations, food contact materials, and product safety.
  • Participate in regulatory impact assessments.
  • Assist in interpreting and applying domestic and international regulatory requirements to ensure product compliance.
  • Review and analyze analytical test reports and technical data to support regulatory submissions and product claims.
  • Coordinate product testing with internal teams and external laboratories to meet regulatory and commercialization timelines.
  • Support technical sustainability initiatives, including compliance with environmental regulations and reporting requirements.
  • Maintain regulatory documentation and databases to ensure accuracy and accessibility.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including R&D, Legal, Quality, and Sustainability to support product development and commercialization.
  • Assist in preparing regulatory submissions, certifications, and responses to customer and governmental inquiries.
  • Monitor regulatory changes and communicate relevant updates to internal stakeholders.
  • Any other responsibilities as assigned periodically.

Qualifications

We need you to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biology or a related discipline
  • 3+ years of experience in regulatory affairs, product compliance, or related technical role
  • Familiarity with chemical regulations (e.g., FDA, TSCA, REACH)
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and regulatory databases.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional environment and manage multiple priorities.

Icing on the cake:

  • Experience supporting sustainability or ESG compliance initiatives.
  • Knowledge of international regulatory frameworks and product stewardship programs.
  • Familiarity with compliance platforms or document management systems.
