Responsibilities

Your Role:

 

Reynolds Consumer Products is seeking a detail-oriented and passionate Legal Counsel to support the business in reviewing and negotiating commercial transactions with customers, suppliers, and other parties. This role will focus on the review, drafting, and negotiation of a high volume of procurement and commercial agreements that support our fast-paced, global operations. This role will work closely with senior commercial counsel and corporate paralegals to streamline contract processes, manage risk, and ensure alignment with business objectives. Success in this position requires exceptional project management skills, procurement contracting experience, and the ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders across the organization.

  • Review, draft, and negotiate commercial business and procurement-related agreements, including raw materials, packaging, co-manufacturing, logistics, transportation, professional services, IT, and marketing services.
  • Partner with senior commercial counsel to provide legal support for strategic sourcing and vendor management initiatives.
  • Collaborate with corporate paralegals to track and manage contracts from intake through execution using contract lifecycle management tools.
  • Develop, maintain, and update procurement contract templates, playbooks, and standard clauses to drive efficiency and consistency.
  • Advise business partners on contract terms, risk allocation, and compliance with internal policies.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams (Supply Chain, Procurement, Marketing, Sales, Finance, IT, and Operations) to support commercial and operational objectives.
  • Prioritize and manage multiple complex contracts simultaneously in a deadline-driven environment.
  • Identify opportunities to improve contracting processes and implement best practices for efficiency.
  • Any other responsibility as assigned periodically.

Qualifications

We need you to have: 

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Active license to practice law in at least one U.S. jurisdiction and ability to obtain IL license.
  • 3+ years of experience negotiating and drafting commercial contracts, including procurement exposure.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects with competing priorities in a high-volume environment.
  • Strong project management, adaptability, organizational, and communication skills.
  • In-house legal experience in a CPG, manufacturing, or similar high-volume procurement environment.
  • Familiarity with raw materials, contract manufacturing, packaging, logistics, IT/AI and marketing services agreements.
  • Experience with contract lifecycle management (CLM) software.
  • Exposure to regulatory and compliance considerations relevant to CPG products.

Posted Salary Range

USD $140,000.00 - USD $150,000.00 /A

Bonus Eligibility

Role is eligible for 10% annual incentive provided the business meets financial goals and the individual meets their performance goals, subject to plan administration guidelines.
