The Senior Manager, IT – Trade Systems is responsible for shaping RCP’s business technologies and processes in these key functions to improve operating efficiency, automation, and business outcomes.   Reporting to the IT Director, this role fuses the needs of the business with the expertise of the IT department.

The Senior Manager, IT – Trade Systems will be responsible for overseeing the strategy, implementation, and management of technology solutions that drive the end-to-end Trade Promotion lifecycle for our CPG business. This individual will act as the bridge between business stakeholders, IT teams, and external vendors to ensure the Trade systems are optimized, integrated, and aligned with business goals.

  • Lead the implementation and optimization of Trade software solutions
  • Develop and execute the roadmap for Trade IT solutions to ensure seamless integration with Sales, Marketing, Finance, and other key business functions.
  • Ensure that systems effectively support trade promotion planning, budgeting, execution, and performance analytics.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact between the business units and IT teams, ensuring alignment on trade promotion goals and priorities.
  • Manage the integration of Trade systems with other enterprise platforms (ERP, CRM, etc.) for comprehensive data flow and accurate insights.
  • Enable the data foundation for analytics, so business can evaluate Trade promotion & optimization.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements across the trade promotion lifecycle and work with business teams to implement changes.
  • Lead change management initiatives, ensuring smooth transitions during system upgrades, new implementations, or process adjustments.
  • Manage relationships with external vendors and third-party consultants to ensure timely delivery and support for trade solutions.
  • Lead the vendor selection process for new tools, platforms, or integrations when required.

Qualifications

We need you to have:

 

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.    
  • 7+ years of experience in IT management, with a focus on Trade or related systems within the Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) industry.
  • Experience with leading trade software platforms (SAP TPM, Vistex, Exceedra or similar) is strongly preferred.
  • Strong Integration experience across multiple Trade applications and ERP (such SAP S4, ECC, etc.).
  • Knowledge and understanding on Financial reporting in relation to Funds & Deal management.
  • Proven track record of successful project management, system implementation, and cross-functional collaboration in a large-scale enterprise setting.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to translate complex IT concepts into actionable business insights.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple stakeholders, prioritize competing demands, and drive change across the organization.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to process optimization.
  • Proficient in MS Office with high proficiency in Excel
  • Experience in CPG / Manufacturing industry
  • Must be able to advocate for change while also remaining flexible to stakeholder needs and priorities
  • Self-directed with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple accountabilities and multiple internal customers
  • Strong technical knowledge of trade promotion processes, systems, and analytics within the CPG sector.

Icing on the cake:

  • Master's degree or advanced degree preferred.

Posted Salary Range

USD $165,000.00 - USD $175,000.00 /A

Bonus Eligibility

Role is eligible for 18% annual incentive provided the business meets financial goals and the individual meets their performance goals, subject to plan administration guidelines.
