Your Role

 

The Senior IT Manager-Applications PMO is responsible for driving excellence in project delivery across the Digital Business Solutions organization. This role leads complex, high-impact programs while establishing and maintaining project management standards, processes, and governance. This Leader ensures consistency, quality, and efficiency in all projects managed by the team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and accountability. Acting as a strategic partner, this role collaborates with business and IT leadership to align initiatives with organizational goals and deliver measurable outcomes.

  • Oversee planning, execution, and delivery of large-scale, complex, cross-functional IT programs within the applications portfolio.
  • Ensure alignment of program objectives with business strategy and IT roadmap.
  • Define and enforce project management methodologies, frameworks, and best practices across the applications team.
  • Develop and maintain templates, tools, and guidelines to standardize project execution.
  • Manage governance processes for project initiation, tracking, and closure.
  • Continuously evaluate and refine processes to improve efficiency and predictability.
  • Monitor adherence to quality standards for all projects managed by the team.
  • Conduct periodic audits and reviews to ensure compliance with defined processes and deliverable quality.
  • Act as a key liaison between IT leadership, business units, and project teams.
  • Facilitate communication and alignment across stakeholders to resolve issues and manage risks.
  • Define and monitor KPIs and success metrics to track value delivered for projects and programs.
  • Provide regular reporting on project health, risks, and performance to senior leadership.
  • Mentor and coach project managers to enhance skills and ensure consistent application of standards.
  • Drive training initiatives to strengthen project management competencies across the team.
  • Establish frameworks for proactive risk identification and mitigation.
  • Ensure timely escalation and resolution of critical issues impacting project delivery.

Qualifications

We need you to have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
  • 7+ years of experience in IT Project Management around application implementations, ideally  within the Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) industry.
  • Proven track record of leading complex, enterprise-level programs involving multiple stakeholders and technologies.
  • Experience in establishing and managing a Project Management Center of Excellence or similar governance function.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and implement project management standards, processes, and tools.
  • Hands-on experience with applications development projects and integration initiatives.
  • Strong background in organizational change management, risk management, quality assurance, and compliance frameworks.
  • Experience in mentoring and developing project management talent within an IT organization
  • Proficient in MS Office with high proficiency in Excel
  • Experience in CPG / Manufacturing industry
  • Must be able to advocate for change while also remaining flexible to stakeholder needs and priorities
  • Self-directed with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple accountabilities and multiple internal customers
  • Strong technical knowledge of trade promotion processes, systems, and analytics within the CPG sector.

Posted Salary Range

USD $170,000.00 - USD $180,000.00 /A

Bonus Eligibility

Role is eligible for 18% annual incentive provided the business meets financial goals and the individual meets their performance goals, subject to plan administration guidelines.
