Responsibilities

Your Role:

 

The Project Engineer will analyze, evaluate and develop small to large scale projects.  This role will oversee machine build projects from design to fully operational & completed systems delivered to the customer. The engineer will also improve and maintain current systems and provide for machine upgrades & updates.  The Project Engineer will aid in the design, visit systems in the field, and provide field support for equipment installations and startups.

  • Lead projects involving new machine builds, equipment upgrades, and other vital projects necessary to the equipment group.
  • Assist with the design, fabrication, modification, and evaluation to support our manufacturing operations both Domestic and Internationally.
  • Strong hands-on experience working with equipment and processes.
  • Works closely with external machine shops to oversee fabrication of components and systems.
  • Troubleshoot equipment issues and provide technical leadership to solve problems.
  • Demonstrate ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
  • Comfortable reviewing machine documentation, tolerancing, CAD drawings, 3-D models.
  • Proficient with AutoCAD Inventor 3-D software & Experience with AutoCAD Vault.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Ability to communicate technical concepts with a positive and professional presence both internally and externally.

Qualifications

We need you to have:

  • BA/BS degree in Engineering or related field preferred.
  • 5+ years of related professional and progressive manufacturing experience.
  • Proficient in MS Office.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including presentation skills and the ability to communicate effectively.
  • Self-directed with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple internal customers and external customers.
  • Ability to handle multiple projects from small to large scale.
  • Strong analytical skills as well as organizational skills.
  • Skills in handling conflict resolution situations.
  • Ability to be discreet with confidential information and sensitive issues.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule during key business deadlines.
  • Must be team oriented with the ability to work on high performance teams.
  • Ability to travel 10-15% Domestic and International
