Then we have an opportunity for you! We currently have an opportunity for a Continuous Improvement Supervisor at our manufacturing plant in Jacksonville, IL (East Plant).

Responsibilities

Your Role:

As a Continuous Improvement Supervisor, you will be responsible for for leading and executing improvement initiatives that enhance safety, quality, productivity, and cost performance across the facility. This role partners closely with production, quality, maintenance, and supporting departments to identify opportunities, facilitate root-cause analysis, and drive sustainable solutions. By coaching teams, enabling problem-solving, and monitoring results, this position plays a vital part in achieving plant and company goals.

  • Lead, coordinate, and execute continuous improvement initiatives that support plant goals in safety, quality, productivity, and cost reduction.
  • Coach and develop employees at all levels in CI tools, structured problem-solving, and waste reduction strategies.
  • Facilitate Kaizen events, Gemba walks, and cross-functional improvement projects.
  • Partner with Production Supervisors to optimize daily operations and reduce unplanned downtime or inefficiencies.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), analyze trends, and ensure CI-related data is accurately captured, communicated, and actioned.
  • Support quality improvement initiatives and ensure processes meet or exceed plant expectations.
  • Supervise and coach CI Team Leaders in CI tools and standard work.
  • Promote and reinforce a culture of safety by identifying risk, participating in safety reviews, and ensuring corrective actions are implemented effectively.
  • In applicable locations, ensure compliance with SQF, GMP practices, and food safety programs by improving process capability and reducing process variation.
  • Drive standardization of processes and ensure procedures are updated, documented, and consistently followed.
  • Ultimately, you will be responsible for creating a culture of problem-solving, teamwork, and continuous learning while building systems that make improvement sustainable.

Qualifications

We need you to have:

  • BA/BS degree in Operations Management, Engineering, Business, or related field.
  • 3+ years of related professional and progressive manufacturing experience.
  • Strong facilitation, coaching, and change management skills; comfortable working on the floor and in cross-functional teams.
  • Working knowledge of CI methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma, 6S, RCA, etc.).
  • Proficiency in MS Office.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Self-directed mindset with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong teamwork orientation and ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
  • Willingness to work a flexible schedule during major improvement events or project milestones

Posted Salary Range

USD $66,000.00 - USD $90,750.00 /A

Bonus Eligibility

Role is eligible for 5% annual incentive provided the business meets financial goals and the individual meets their performance goals, subject to plan administration guidelines.
