Education
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Management, Engineering, Business, or a related field; or a combination of education, training, and relevant manufacturing leadership experience that demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to successfully perform the essential functions of the position.
Experience
- Minimum of 5 years of manufacturing experience, including at least 2 years of supervisory experience.
- Demonstrated knowledge of LEAN manufacturing principles and process improvement techniques.
- Experience leading or supervising employees in a manufacturing, production, or industrial environment.
- Knowledge of manufacturing operations, production scheduling, and quality systems.
- Working knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, continuous improvement, or related operational excellence methodologies.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong leadership, coaching, problem-solving, organizational, and decision-making skills.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills with the ability to collaborate across all levels of the organization.
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Ability to analyze operational data and make informed business decisions.
- Ability to motivate and develop employees while fostering a positive and accountable work environment.
- Ability to identify opportunities for continuous improvement and implement sustainable solutions.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
Preferred
- Experience in a high-volume manufacturing environment; injection molding experience, preferred
- Experience using ERP or manufacturing execution systems (MES).
- Effective written and verbal communication skills at all levels of the organization; bilingual Spanish is a plus.
