We currently have an opportunity for a Human Resources Manager at our Manufacturing Facility in Jacksonville East, IL.  This position requires you to be on-site 5 days per week.  Bilingual Spanish skills preferred.

The Plant Human Resources Manager serves as the strategic Human Resources business partner for an assigned manufacturing facility, aligning people strategies with operational and business objectives. The position leads employee relations, talent management, organizational effectiveness, workforce planning, and leadership development while ensuring compliance with applicable employment laws and company policies. This role partners with plant and business leaders to strengthen organizational capability, employee engagement, retention, and performance. The position exercises independent judgment in addressing complex workforce matters, influences leaders across the organization, and drives Human Resources strategies that support a safe, inclusive, accountable, and high-performing culture.

Human Resources Strategy & Business Partnership

• Partner with plant and business leadership to develop and execute Human Resources strategies aligned with operational goals and business priorities.
• Lead Human Resources initiatives that strengthen organizational effectiveness, workforce capability, employee engagement, retention, and operational performance.
• Serve as the primary Human Resources business partner for assigned manufacturing operations, providing strategic guidance on workforce priorities and organizational needs.
• Influence cross-functional business initiatives and enterprise Human Resources priorities to support evolving business objectives.

Leadership & Talent Development

• Coach leaders on employee performance, engagement, talent development, organizational effectiveness, and workforce planning to strengthen leadership capability and business performance.
• Lead recruitment, onboarding, retention, and succession planning initiatives to build and sustain a capable workforce.
• Develop and deliver training that strengthens leadership capability, employee development, and organizational effectiveness.
• Lead, coach, and develop Human Resources team members while promoting accountability, engagement, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

Employee Relations & Compliance

• Lead employee relations matters, including investigations, conflict resolution, corrective actions, and policy interpretation, while minimizing organizational risk.
• Ensure compliance with applicable federal, state, and local employment laws, regulations, and company policies.
• Manage Human Resources records, reporting, audits, and compliance documentation to support accurate and effective Human Resources operations.
• Support food safety, SQF, GMP, and applicable regulatory compliance requirements.

Workforce Analytics & Organizational Effectiveness

• Analyze workforce data and Human Resources metrics to identify trends, evaluate organizational needs, and recommend solutions that improve business performance.
• Support leadership development, employee engagement, retention, succession planning, and organizational effectiveness initiatives.
• Manage external Human Resources vendors and service providers as needed to support business requirements.

Education/Experience

     Required

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; or a combination of education, training, and relevant experience that demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to successfully perform the essential functions of the position.
• 6+ years of progressive Human Resources Generalist or Human Resources Business Partner experience. 

     Preferred

• Experience supporting manufacturing, operations, distribution, or industrial environments.
• Previous experience leading, coaching, and developing direct reports.
• Experience managing employee relations, performance management, talent acquisition, and organizational development initiatives.
• Experience interpreting and applying employment laws and HR policies.

USD $98,400.00 - USD $139,000.00 /A

Role is eligible for 10% annual incentive provided the business meets financial goals and the individual meets their performance goals, subject to plan administration guidelines.
